New Jersey License Law

The NJREC may suspend or revoke a real estate license for all of the following EXCEPT:

AMisrepresentation in a real estate transaction
BCommingling client funds
CFailing to update a personal address with the NJREC✓ Correct
DConviction of a crime involving moral turpitude

Explanation

While licensees should update their address with NJREC, failure to do so alone is generally an administrative matter, not a ground for suspension or revocation. Misrepresentation, commingling, and criminal convictions are grounds for disciplinary action.
