Rhode Island's salesperson exam is administered by PSI. Testing centers in the Providence area and online with remote proctoring.

What to Bring Two valid IDs (one government-issued photo ID), PSI confirmation number. All items go in a locker.

The Exam - **120 questions** (80 national + 40 Rhode Island); **3 hours** (~1:30 per question) - **Passing**: 70% (84/120); score reported immediately

Strategy **RI state questions**: DBR Real Estate Division (no commission), RIGL Chapter 5-20.5, 45-hour prelicense, transfer tax ($2.28 per $500), Lead Hazard Mitigation Act (pre-1978 rentals), judicial foreclosure (mortgage state), fair housing additions (marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic violence victim).

National questions: Financing (TRID), fair housing (7 federal classes), valuation (cap rate), contracts.

Retaking No waiting period. Retake fee: $65. Score report shows areas to strengthen.
