Indiana's IREC may issue a formal complaint against a licensee based on:

AOnly written complaints from consumers
BA consumer complaint, a fellow licensee's complaint, or on the Commission's own motion based on information it receives✓ Correct
COnly criminal charges that have resulted in a conviction
DOnly complaints filed within 30 days of the alleged violation

Explanation

The IREC may investigate and initiate disciplinary proceedings based on consumer complaints, complaints from other licensees, referrals from courts, or on its own motion when it becomes aware of potential violations.
