Nevada Real Estate Exam Day: What to Expect at PSI

What to bring, how Nevada's 120-question exam works, and strategies for passing with a 75% score.

Nevada's salesperson exam is administered by PSI. Testing centers in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, and online with remote proctoring.

What to Bring Two valid IDs (one government-issued photo ID), PSI confirmation number. All items go in a locker.

The Exam - **120 questions** (80 national + 40 Nevada); **3 hours** (~1:30 per question — tighter than many states) - **Passing**: 75% (90/120); score reported immediately

Strategy **Nevada state questions**: NRED under Dept of Business & Industry (not a commission), NRS Chapter 645, 120-hour prelicense, community property (both spouses sign), facilitator vs. agent distinction, transfer tax ($1.95 per $500), 24-hour CE per 2-year cycle.

National questions: Financing (TRID, deed of trust), fair housing (7 federal classes), valuation (cap rate), contracts.

Pacing: 3 hours for 120 questions = 90 seconds per question. Flag uncertain questions and return. Most candidates finish in 2-2.5 hours.

Retaking No waiting period. Retake fee: $100. Score report shows areas to strengthen.
