Nevada's 120-hour prelicense requirement is among the highest in the country. Here's how to plan study time after finishing the courses.

After 120 Hours: How Much More? **No real estate background**: 4-5 weeks additional, 1-2 hours/day **Business/law background**: 3-4 weeks **Licensed in another state**: 3-4 weeks focused on Nevada-specific content (community property, NRED structure, transfer tax)

Week-by-Week Plan **Week 1**: NRED and license law — NRS Chapter 645, NRED Administrator vs. advisory Commission (5 members), 120-hour prelicense, 2-year renewal, 24-hour CE (mandatory topics). **Week 2**: Community property — what's community vs. separate, both-spouse signing requirements, quasi-community property. **Week 3**: Agency — agent vs. facilitator distinction, dual agency written consent, written disclosure before substantive services. **Week 4**: Transfer tax ($1.95 per $500), Seller's Disclosure, HOA disclosures. National content review. **Week 5**: Full timed practice exams (120 questions, 3 hours). Target 82%+ before scheduling (buffer above 75%).

Scheduling Apply through NRED at red.nv.gov. Schedule through PSI. Testing centers in Las Vegas, Reno, Henderson, and other locations.
