Under MS Code §73-35, the MREC is authorized to take disciplinary action against a licensee for all of the following EXCEPT:

AMisrepresentation of material facts
BCommingling client funds with personal funds
CCharging a commission that a competitor considers too low✓ Correct
DPracticing real estate without a valid license

Explanation

MREC can discipline for misrepresentation, commingling, and unlicensed practice, among other violations. Commission rates are freely negotiable; a licensee cannot be disciplined solely because competitors disagree with their fee structure.
